I'm cold. It's very cold here in Anchorage, cold enough that it's made local news that it's really cold.

The other day I was talking to a friend about a plan to sew buttonholes in my favorite denim jacket to hold vintage clip on earrings that belonged to my grandmother. She asked if I was worried about the earrings being damaged. 

I said "I'm more worried about them being in a box and never being seen, never being enjoyed." 

It's amazing that you are here. Everything that had to go just right to be in this moment. That's a special occasion worth celebration.
