The
Athena coloring page from 2016 was never meant to be a stand-alone. This time I picked Demeter. Her symbols are grain, poppies, cornucopias and torches. I chose the cornucopia and wheat for this representation.
The coloring for this was inspired by the work of
Vinzenz Brinkmann. He's an archaeologist who has done amazing things with researching color on ancient art by finding the pigments still on the statues and art and doing colorized versions based off those findings.
